Today started off as any other normal day. We got up around 7am. Made breakfast. I drank coffee, and I watched a sermon on the computer after watching the news and GMA with my husband as we do EVERY single day. Nothing was off, nothing felt weird in my spirit. As morning turned to early afternoon I made us all lunch. After lunch, we put together a new baby gate to keep our wandering toddler safe. Then, my husband did his routine of going out and starting up his 2001 Dodge Ram and taking it around our block. Usually he stays within the complex, today however, his battery was dying in his truck. He didn't tell me he was going to go further down the road, we didn't even barely say anything before he left as I was busy with our daughter. I called my mom to tell her about my day as I usually do, and then my father-in-law started calling in while I was on the call with my mom. I honestly ignored it, because I had just talked to him yesterday and figured he was just calling to give me more parenting advice...After the third time he called, I called him back frantic at the realization that my husband had not yet returned. It had been entirely too long for what he was doing. My husband ended up calling me on a borrowed witnesses cell phone. He didn't even take his phone with HIM! The verse of the day today was this: 2 Corinthians 4:18 TPT "because we don't focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal." I didn't see that scripture until I was in the car with my husband after picking him up from the scene of his accident. I am SO thankful as far as we know HE is okay. I prayed for the other woman involved, she had just lost her 28 year old son. I am going to continue to pray for her, because I saw this as an opportunity to witness to the lady they POWER OF HIS LOVE. In a situation I could have been angry, I chose LOVE. I am going to start a "VLOG" on YouTube and here is my first one. Subscribe to our channel and share the videos! God wants us to be fishers of men.. so let's get to FISHIN'!
