Renewing your Mind is Vital

God has truly given me amazing nuggets of revelation knowledge during this past season in my life. He has put so many amazing, wonderful women of God in my life. Jan Hicks is one of them and she referred me to Dr. Caroline Leaf https://drleaf.com/blog/ and many, many other amazing tools have been given to me. We cannot succeed alone. We cannot succeed with knowledge of "this world", but only by the DUNAMIS power of the Holy Spirit living in us, and by our own free will can we truly DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST! Our minds are powerful, and can be used as a weapon against us if we do not realize that is the enemies tactic. The enemy only has power IF WE GIVE it to him, allowing his lies to infiltrate, fester, and destroy us ultimately if we do not recognize the TRUTH. During this past season of spiritual awakening and growth, I have struggled with myself. My will, VS. God's will. I am learning and maturing. I could beat myself up for hours, but that is what the enemy wants. To get us STUCK on our failures, shortcomings, and missteps. To internalize guilt, shame and condemnation. The truth is we should instead EXTERNALIZE on the cross all those 'feelings' that come from the enemy. When I went to my Freedom Conference December 7,2018 I got baptized again on December 8, 2018. This time I decided all the shame I let go of, officially, wasn't coming back home with me. All the lies I believed, weren't going to attack my mind any longer and control my emotions. Now, have I slipped back into "stinking thinking" since December 8, yes, I have. However, I have linked the "stinking thinking" to not renewing my mind. So, say I wake up one morning and skip my bible study and go straight into a Netflix binge on worldly television that literally are garbage for your newly born spirit... you get the picture. The truth.. what you PUT IN .. WILL COME OUT. PERIOD. No matter what.. if you feed your spirit things that edify HIM, encourage HIM, and SEEK HIM.. your going to experience the DUNAMIS power at full capacity! Deuteronomy 30 holds some important keys. I have lived in that scripture area for the past few weeks. God is a jealous God, not in a figurative sense but literal. If I watch Netflix instead of seeking HIM... my fruit DIES. I feel DEAD, depressed, angry, resentful... etc etc. When I put all my time into seeking HIM.. life is BEAUTIFUL, HEAVEN ON EARTH. It's amazing to see how MY CHOICE to SEEK HIM effects MY LIFE in such an ENCHANTING WAY! It's literally life-giving, walking in blessings every day. So why do we veer off this amazing, fairy-tale life HE designed for us to live? FREE WILL. If we automatically and permanently changed upon Salvation.. what would have been the point in THE CROSS? That cross... is EPIC. When I was blind, deaf, and dumb I didn't have the capacity to truly GRASP WHAT THE CROSS DID for ME! It's so much more than where he DIED... it's where ALL MY SINS, PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE STOPPED disconnecting me from THE FATHER. When the veil was torn.. the access to relationship.. TRUE RELATIONSHIP with HIM began. We have to retrain our minds out of that old way of thinking. I don't personally want to go back to the old way of life before THE CROSS! It's just terrible. Prayer is more than just "Father God, thank you for today and all the many blessings you have given me.. please help me to _______________." Prayer is a lifestyle of Praise, Worship, Honor, and LOVE. To pray without ceasing, is just to simply be in relationship with your Heavenly Father. To build trust, faith, and HOPE! I could go on forever about HIS PERFECT will for our lives, but I hope I painted the correct picture here that I have now been able to experience first-hand. Religion is misery, relationship IS EVERYTHING GOOD! Just talk to Him like He is sitting next to you, because HE IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK! <3
